On a International and European level specifications and standards relevant
to stationary VRLA batteries, battery installations and terminology are defined
in the IEC TC21 WG3, WG5 and CENELEC TC21X WG1.
For installations that are to be operated in Switzerland, the following notions
and specifications should be taken in addition into consideration:
Oerlikon Stationary Batteries delivers the necessary information for the planning of the battery installation according to the specifications of the user. We recommend the user to familiarize with National Industry specifications and specific Health and Safety requirements of his own country.
